Forensic Scientists usage.

Forensic Scientists can use DNA profiling to solve crimes. The DNA that was collected from a crime scene can easily be determined whose DNA it belongs to by simply going through the process of DNA profiling. Scientists would collect DNA from the suspects by using a mouth swab or even blood, semen, hair and saliva. DNA profiling is a powerful crime solving tool because of course, no one has the same DNA only if they are twins and it makes forensic scientists easier to find a suspect because of their DNA fingerprinting.

This clip shows that over 100 of thousands of children are missing each year. The parents have no way finding their missing child because they don’t have their DNA to show the police. So FBI started a DNA kit that can be use on children so their parents can keep a sample of their children’s DNA at home. You simply rub inside the cheek with a cotton swab to get the cheek cells and put in into a tube. DNA profiling is one of the most affective crime tools ever in finding out a person’s DNA. Back then, a quarter of DNA sample was needed to get a DNA profile. Now, not only blood but skin, hair can also be used to create a DNA profile.
